First year of an academy usually sucks. No friends, no one knows you. And the teachers, oh, wow. You don't even know how retarded they are!
And the dorms were all white. All clean. All fresh. What a load of crap this place was. My parents sent me here. Regrettably, I let them talk me into it.
"Spencer, if you go you will earn respect" "You will be looked upon" "You will be a nice young man"
Wait a minute, I didn't get talked into it. My brother bribed me with over ten grand, just because he wanted my room. Whatever, though.

I threw my suitcase onto the farthest bed, the one away from the door, and went outside, looking for the sports sign up boards.

I came back into my room, throwing the paper into the mail basket. I wrote "OFFICE" on it, I knew they would deliver it there.
